This rate includes qualified guide and luxury vehicle, fuel, toll fees, insurances, mileage and bottled water throughout. Included in this fee is the guide’s accommodation and meals. He or she will stay geographically close to where you choose to stay, based on our suggestions.

Proposed Itinerary
Day One
Leaving Cape Town we drive through the wine towns of Worcester and Robertson to the Ostrich Capital of the World, Oudtshoorn where, after lunch, you may sit or ride an ostrich and learn more about this fascinating prehistoric looking bird.
If we are running on time, at 4pm, you will join a tour into the Cango Caves, one of the most impressive cave networks in the world, and one of South Africa’s Most Unique National Treasures.
Overnight at Hlangana Lodge, Boulders Guest House or at La Plume
Day Two
Wake up early to join a conservationist at sunrise to watch wild Meerkats start their daily routines, at very close range.
OR, after breakfast stroke a cheetah cub at a local cheetah breeding centre and crocodile farm www.cango.co.za
Visit the JP Nel Museum in Oudtshoorn, dedicated to the Jewish people who established this town and the ostrich industry.
Then we take you on a slow drive over the dramatic Outeniqua Pass through George and on to Knysna, a big FESTIVAL town situated on South Africa’s second largest estuary.
Option Two: Visit Monkeyland and the Birds of Eden
Or spend an hour walking with elephants in a forest environment, at The Elephant Sanctuary Elephantsanctuary
Take2tours also encourages people to visit the wild cat re-hab centre called Tenikwa where (if booked in advance) you can take a cheetah for a walk on a lease!
Option Three: Whale and Dolphin-watching boat trips depart daily from Plettenberg Bay
Other options include Quadbiking in the forests of George, mountain biking in Knysna, horse-riding trails along the lakes of Sedgefield, or kayaking in Wilderness. We strongly recommend a visit to one of South Africa’s most spectacular coastal National Parks. Storms River/ Tsitsikamma (hiking and river boat excursions optional)

Day Four
Transfer back to Cape Town.
Stop at the Mossel Bay Diaz Museum Complex en route. 7 hour drive.
NOTE
Clients may extend their stay by one night with an overnight safari at BOTLIERSKOP outside George.
OR they may catch a plane from George to Johannesburg to continue their itinerary in the north (Welgevonden, Pilanesberg, Kruger, Madikwe)
OR they may transfer to Port Elizabeth and take a safari there, or catch a flight from there to Durban on the East Coast.
