Take 2 Tours, was founded in 1998 by Wayne Milne, to serve clients with a desire to see the best of South Africa PRIVATELY.
With a little help from our friends, and even more help from the bank, we have grown to become a network of like-minded people across South Africa and Zimbabwe, who market themselves jointly for the benefit of the total tourist experience. We now have agents and partners in Johannesburg, Durban, Knysna and Victoria Falls.
Wayne was born in Harare, Zimbabwe and lived in 5 countries before deciding (finally) to settle in South Africa. He holds a Higher National Diploma in Hotel Management and has 11 years of hotel and hotel-related experience to his name. He stumbled upon the idea to take up guiding on a professional basis after having difficulty in finding suitable employment in Cape Town, back in 1997. Wayne has been principle driver/ guide (in the Cape Town area) for the company since it started.
Our main focus, since founding the company, has been on attracting tourists who are interested in seeing the sights of South Africa suggested by the guide books, but who also want the FLEXIBILITY of making changes to proposed routes based on their individual preferences.
To ENSURE that visitors to South Africa, leave with such happy memories, that they inadvertently become ambassadors for the Southern African region.
